I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember and have had a blog for nearly 20 years. This is not my writing CV, so I won’t bore you.
You can expect ‘All Kinds of Everything’ to do what it says on the tin. Anything and everything is within the scope of my pen, or keypad anyway. I have things I’m interested in and subjects I write about often, but don’t be surprised if a piece on baking bread turns up next to one on editing, art or nature.
I’m a self-employed baker, painter, photographer and writer living in the Scottish Highlands. You can find me painting or writing in my ‘studio’ (currently the dining room table but hopefully to be a shed in the garden later this year) in the kitchen baking or at the beach, swimming, walking or collecting pebbles.
I have multiple chronic health conditions and a variety of disabilities and although I don’t discuss those aspects of my life often, they inform who I am and impact what I can do. Thankfully, writing is something I can manage most of the time. I’m aiming to get something on here once a week.
Hopefully some of you will enjoy reading in my wee corner of cyber-space some of the time. Do drop by and say hello and subscribe to keep up to date with new writing and news.
