What we see in clouds; when my younger daughter was around sixteen weeks pregnant I saw a foetus cloud. A bit like spotting yellow cars on a long journey (that child game of poke).
No portents Debbie. She is now about 25 weeks. Clouds hold their secrets from me. My portents come from the natural world, particularly birds. We have jackdaws nesting in the chimney. Last year they brought death. This year they bring birth.
I love that. Not the death bit, obviously. I like Corvids. I know many people don’t. A lot of folklore surrounding them. They shoot them here. I have a poem about that (obviously!)
Not long until you’re a Grandad then. Hope it all goes smoothly.

That’s interesting! Did it portent anything?
My sister and I used to do the car spotting thing (and also the annoying waving out of the rear window!)

Your wonder with the ordinary. Fabulous.
