Love the photographs. We appear to have similar approaches to gardening. Mine is tiny but currently hosts a couple of hedgehogs, mice, slow worms and a frog.
Very jealous of your amphibians. I had newts, frogs and toads in my last pond, but this one is maybe a bit new yet. I live in hope. We do have hogs and common lizards though.
Ooh lizards! I would love some of those. We have lizards of course on the heathlands of Dorset and I have even seem them on Came Down (about a mile from me) but we are too urban for them

We back on to heathland here. An SSSI links. Currently under threat from a golf and hotel development.

Yes, me too, but so many people are brainwashed into thinking that weed/flower free lawns are desirable!
